Pard has a .243 84M. Been leaning hard on same to retube for increased rpm over the lazy OEM 10-twist spout that their brilliant attorneys hamstrung out of the gate. Been upselling a new 8-twist tube for 105/108's and maybe the new 95 grain LRX for a 2020 alpine muley/elk option.

So, what to do? SAAMI .243, AI'd, 6 Creed, 6 x metric? Lapua or Alpha brass a given. Don't have it handy for mag constraint dimensions. Benchmark is a reasonable drive away. Have heard good things about this Shaen dude for spinning it together....

I'd go 6 creed so you have mag box wiggle room, great brass and factory ammo available.

Ivs still got a 243 AI and 243s that aren't going anywhere but my fieldcraft 6 creed has became a favorite

Could get crazy and 6gt....

That's so gay! See that Alpha is making brass already but don't think I can steer my pard to SRP and Redding die$.

6 Creed 105/108's and RL22/23 seems like a nice recipe for performance and barrel longevity....

What would be a modest throat spec?

I'd go 22 CM, because that's what I want and feel like everyone else should too.

I'd not want more than .120".....................
Have heard good things about 0.10".... Obliged.

Would be a dandy package for reasons previously cited. However, those bright minds in this state's legislature believed .224 would bounce off cloven-hoofed critters compared to .243.

Thanks all!

Even less spooky at $799 and I REALLY wouldn't fucking linger.

Hint.

They are Baby Man Approved.

Hard to get hurt here too,as cited prior. The 22-250's were the same price, but the boys went nuts on them. Baby Man got one for his 1st B-day.

Great time to double down.

ABSOLUTELY the smoothest rifle I've ever handled.

Fit and finish are surprisingly good. Pillars/bedding,on the money.

Finally got some re-purposed DD's cleaned.

Headspace is snuggerish and positive with Alpha Virgins...trigger is killer.

I shoulda bought a few more...................(grin)
