Folks, I have several questions,
Has anyone bit on the 6mm Arc
Has anyone used X-caliber barrels
and finally I have a Howa LW 1500 in .223 with a trashed barrel. Trying to decide what to rebarrel it to. I like the action, it is very smooth and has a good trigger. I also have several 1 in 7 223's but they are all heavy barrel.
Thanks in advance

I've multiple 22 and 243 Grendels and LOVE 'em.

Have another in a box, fresh from Kali, that I haven't yet opened 224 Grendel 1-7". The 224's are fucking MONSTERS with 88 ELD's and very easily arranged in a boltgun..............

I'd let the Norma go and focus Lapooey.

The 243 ARC in Factory form, will do a lotta folks right,I've no doubt.

Pass the 223 ARC..................(grin)

I'm told the good guys have been testing the 6 ARC in bad places on bad people and they're loving it.

I'm looking to spin one up....

100% worth it. No Regerts.(grin)

But I walked into a used Donor rifle, wearing a McMillan for a 300 Clam Entry Fee,which don't suck. PBB to their credit,do nice looking work, but it's the shit you CAN'T see, that fucking matters.(grin) They botched the throat.

I've multiple X-Calibers,none of which is Howage and I cain't cuss them.

Heavy blueprints are easier/faster/cheaper than Lightweights and especially Flyweights. With a smoked Howie 223 laying in the wings,I'd simply wanna dupe in 7" RPM. Prior to 88 and 90's,I'd say go 270. How much cash do you want to throw at it? Keeping the OEM box/follower and stock,or going Big Time?

I shoot ALOTTA 224/243's of like case capacity side by each and it never don't not boil down to boolits, mattering most. The .224" 75/88 ELD is a fucking Sledgehammer. The .243" 105 Hornie HPBT is Old RELIABLE. So whether 223/6x45,22 Grendel/6 Grendel,22BR/6BR or 22 Kreed/6Kreed extrapolations...I gotta grab the 88/90's and run with 'em. That being said, there is some fucking MAGIC housed in the 6BR chambering.

Pass the 7" 223 and hold The Fluff................(grin)
