After a good bit of trying through the years, I finally put two together that make sense.

For those that know their nuclear history....Fat Man and Little Boy. ;)

Prolly shoulda kept both my 6" 686 and 6" 617,with both wearing the 3-T's.

Oh well.

22/45 LITE and Grock 34 to the rescue..............(grin)

The 686's just fit me better than the 29's.

This 686 is the Distinguished Combat model that came through the S&W Performance Center. The Model 60 Chief's Special still has the original box and paperwork with it. Neither are safe queens but the Model 60 hasn't been fired much.

I'll change that soon enough. ;)

That’s a fine combo you have there.

Everyone should have a 686, one of the best S&W ever put out.

Can’t quite match you for style points with my plastic grip and blue model 36. That 36 is the first centerfire handgun that I owned. Couldn’t guess how many rounds have been through her.
