If a guy was looking for a 3.5-10 or fixed 6, are there any date ranges or Leupold model numbers that would be better?

Personal opinion here, but I really disliked my 6X40. I thought the eye box was pretty bad. Ended up trading it off. I pined over one for a few years before getting my hands on one , and unfortunately I was dissapointed.

Your mileage may vary.

Stay M1...which means 3.5-10x. The 6x is a BDC,which is a series of concessions and it's tough to find a MOA scale for it(Kenton quit making them)................

I love the 6x,but it's rotation to eek ele is backwards wayzee and the lack of MOA designators, will fuck some up. Upon it,I simply slated a BDC knob to be scritched and scratched for both zero and comne-ups.

Really wish they made it currently, with regular rotation,M1's and in MOA........................
