.223 AI take two might make me a believer.

How fast are you guys pushing your forming loads?

Pretty sure I could easily go higher, this one is throated long, but I’m happy with this speed.

Best and worst group @ 100.

No groups to measure but was hitting rocks at 550 with ease.

Looks like you've got a good shooter!

I would say that you're cruising along plenty fast for forming loads. I formed some with 26.0 grains and shoot 27.8 in formed cases.

Speeds with my formed loads is 3015 fps. I never chronoed my FF loads but would guess they were running just under 2900. Mine is a 22" mullerworks barrel.

Thanks!

22" Benchmark on this one. Need to lengthen mag box and this one will be good to go.

Lineman,
that's looking good. I shoot 26.5 grains of lever in my form loads and get just under 3k, mine has a shorter throat though.

What are the particulars on your rifle?

Stainless 700, MCMillan gelcoat MR, 22” Benchmark which I think was ordered as a PN#1 contour.

Was going to trip it and rebarrel another Montana to .22 Creed, but I really like this rifle. Very few rifles I actually keep more than a year or two but I can see this one staying.
