Has anyone slimmed downa set of SWFA rings? I was looking at a set the other day and got to thinking. Why not cut the front and back down, making them a single cap screw on each side, instead of 3...
Not saying it's a good idea- just one that seems to grab me every time I look at them. Alberta Tactical Rifle makes single screw rings and they seem to hlod just fine on a buddy's F/Tr gun. It may just be an itch I have to scratch to satisfy my sick mind.
