I'm thinking 22" 280 1-8",Bart 2B in a EDGE Sako Hunter in ADL. No muss,no fuss and a .838 BC might be good?.......................(grin)

.838? Will they ever even slow down?

I like that blueprint. My first 280AI was a 22 or 23" #3 in a MCM Mountain Rifle. Pretty handy rifle. A 2b/edge would work out great I'd think.

The Horn asked me that very Montucky query,at the gas pump earlier in the day.

This is a 700 Show and a Montucky cain't begin to hang,due COAL confines. Here's the beauty of a 700 in 280 SALAMI,with a 180 Smooch,ala Lapooey false shoulder.

Flipside...my 84L Six Twat-Six is crammed TIGHT,to Smooch a 105 Hornie HPBT. There's roughly about 17-feet of COAL difference available......................(grin)

The 7mm Mouser, would actually be the best pitch. Mebbe later in theevening,I'll get a micrometer out and pull some Montucky measurements from an 84L OEM removed spout and head scratch it.

Here's a 190 Beer Can kissing The Hulk's throat square, with The Klandestine Kali Reamer, which is fucking perfect,by design.

1000 words with a 180 ELD to the left and 6-06 105 Montucky Smooch to the right, which is RIGHT at montucky OEM mag confines.

At a lazy 2650fps start,at 50-degrees and Low Tide.

Ummmmmm...1.5 Mil's full value wind correction at 1000yds(10mph/right angle),prolly ain't much............(grin)

How do those A Tips dig?

Might not be a bad way to fly in my 7 SAUM. Should have plenty of magbox to play with.

You don't want to catch a Beer Can,between the titties.(grin)

How are you picturing the ShamWow configured? Which receiver and what feed mechanism?...............

7-08AI with a trim length of 1.995",with a Beer can at 3.00" COAL. Note that 7-08 SALAMI and ShamWow trim lengths are .040" longer at 2.035",but part of the beauty of forming cases,is that they "shrink" and you can toss the trimmer, after squaring a O/F'd and sized lot up.

Food for thought,if you think you like the thunk.............(grin)

Not to derail the thread, but I was NOT impressed with the 3 140 Accubonds I put into elk this week.

Should have just stayed with either 120 Barnes or 180 Scenars I guess.

AccuBombs are an easy pass, from any/all angles. Been a rather EPIC 147 Kreedmire year, thus far.

Just a friendly blend of BC,velocity and recoil.................

What didn't you like about them lineman?

Congrats on your elk

I put 3 in a cow around 100 yards. Probably didn’t need em, but she was headed down a BAD hill.

Anyway, put the first square in the shoulder, the next 2 tight in behind. None made it to opposite side. She dropped within 10 yards of first shot, but still wasn’t impressed at all.

Was getting dark and was in a hurry, so didn’t dig any of em out.

Big holes in onside rib cage.
