Great video Stick and it is funny how so many people badmouth the 223.I just love when people with real world knowledge like these 2 guys say that the 223 can get the job done.

It's never not interesting to note, that which is blasse' for more than a few,is "impossible" for so many others.

Just got home last night and already had a couple pards swing by with 88 ELD stories and folks are catching on,that boolits prolly matter a "smidge". I don't even know anyone, who hunts a long action anymore. With Today's LRF and Scopes,it seems like everyone is scaling back on case capacity and bore sizing both.

All of which I savvy and I'd be impressed to learn that someone has more love for a 223,than I ..................

As I get older, recoil becomes less manageable and less enjoyable. Nothing like seeing hits in the scope.

I've shot everything there is and admittedly Boomed more than most(all).

That being sad,KNOWING distance and driving glass that TRACKS,has certainly changed The Game.

I can do things with a Rimfire Today, that noone could do with a Centerfire yesteryear.....................

I'd actually forgotten about this order.

Tucked tight and outta da' bight, which about fucking right.

50,000 hour battery life, with just the 2 MO-MO dot rolling, which is how I'm configured on Manual Mode and 10 minute sleep.

To be continued................

I've got several buddies that have picked up those little Holosun's and love them.

I just picked up a C-More RTS2 for Steel Challenge and think highly of it as well.

Equipment just keeps getting better and better...

Gonna poke a 'Dot on a Chickmunk this evening, but trying to get BabyMan squared away and loaded in the crummy, for a Deer Hunt.

It's sorta workin'.(grin)

Thus far,I think VERY highly of the Holosun......................

Can’t recall from the Barrel Break In video Stick, but you shoot southpaw?

Looks like you’ve come full circle back to Leupold...grin...

I can shoot Wrong Handed, especially if someone gets lippy...but typically do not.

'Dot to port,in order to keep exhaust port clear, send empties downward and not contend a turret..................(grin)

It woke me up at 2:30 and sent me to the Reloading Press.

Critters might be on the move today, with this change and there's probably 50' of new snow up high...............(grin)

A pard from work stumbled into a Masher yesterday, but had the wrong rifle for the job and iron sights to boot.

Had his Wife shooting my Baby 270 Montucky at 600yds and she couldn't miss.

You REALLY should nab one of those scopes...while you still can................

You'd shit your pants and he'd simply be mowing shit over.

For the jingle,I think rather HIGHLY of the Sig Romeo 5's and have a pile of 'em in service, with nary a glitch...............

If it helps,Midway has the EGW rail on Sale and I just placed an order, because it's better than what was available and on board from 20++ years ago..................

The OEM mount kinda/sorta attaches at the rear, with a Beer Can threaded tab and without cross slots on the base proper.

Could see mounting the EGW and taking a hacksaw to it,so the Romeo 5 melds same only.

Food for thunking...............

I savvy those points and have questioned righties as to why the majority don’t mount them on the left side for those reasons. Sans the turret.... to each his own...

I’m a natural southpaw so my mine is on the “right” side by default.

I think there's inherent advantage to tucking an elbow in tight, rather than flapping it wide too.

Have handed it to numerous folks and simply said "tell me it sucks",before they shouldered same.

Everyone has grinned and wheels are turnin'.................(grin)

Tossed another 1-6x HD on a Krunchenticker yesterday or the day before(I lose track) and shot it yesterday afternoon. The more I shoot these, the more I REALLY like 'em.

Zero'd in (3) shots without paper, went to 400yds and backtracked zero, then ran to 700yds and was golden. Had other stuff to shoot and was in a hurry,so spread the love. Caught nice conditions (2) days in a row, which is AMAZING in regards to how our "usual" weather has been this year. Played in "SNEAKY Wind" on The 'Horn's 1225yd target and gathered some good Winter DOPE,due the temp drop.

Had my KYL Rack in the back, but LR conditions were so good(for a change),that the focus was on gobbling it up and confirming DOPE..................

Wing Man with me yesterday, was thinking same. Mainly 223,22PPC Improved and 6BR boltguns...but some 243 Grendel Krunchenticker too.

If I was "cheating",it would have been Montucky Whizzum and 180 ELD's..............(grin)

That “sneaky wind” was kinda eye opening

This may help you,as it's a pretty good look at the 3-12x LRTSi's erector turret and how bold the marking are,in regards to illumination, windage and parallax. With the mechanical zero stop,(10) Mil's per revolution and index arrow atop the elevation turret,Stevie Wonder couldn't lose where he was at on total erector travel and where he was within that scale.

VERY nice way to fly.................

Was gonna buy bullets here locally, but figure others likely need them more. 162 ELD's there, but no 180's.................

Cabela's opens at 10, so I'll snag however-many 180s they have left.

The 180s need more twist than a 1-9" out of a 280AI, correct?

It would be cheap R&D to find out,but they are quite a bit longer than a 162 ELD M.

Left to right: 162,Nuzzler 175 NPT,180 ELD M and 190 Beer Can.

I'm flying them in some true '9's..................
