The pro rally driver and former action sports marketing executive died in a snowmobile accident Monday. He was 55.

Yup. Sucks, though he lived more in 55 years than most would in 500. Left a few young kids behind which really sucks.

I always thought that was genuinely good people.

These days everyone is reality show acting, but he seemed like the real deal.

To make it big selling shoes certainly has never been a dream of mine, but he took that and parlayed it into driving a ralley car, which has gotta be one of the funnest things you can do wearing clothes. I was never aware of the scope of what he was doing, but he's been fun to watch.

Most everything is trying to kill you I guess. Might as well be a snowmachine.
