Anybody with real world experience with the Hunter series Kimber 84Ms?

Can't say the one piece trigger guard and wonky looking magazine are my style but......

Thanks!

A friend has a 308 and loves it. Shoots tiny groups. If you pull the gel pack out of the stock and grip it's lighter than a Montana. He's pleased with his, but he bought a 308 which tells you something about his undemanding nature.

I wouldn't own one. Plastic stocks are great. Until they aren't.

I've been thinking about getting one for my Pops.
He prefers the magazine to an ADL setup.

I've heard good things

A pal has this in 308W that he bought for his daughter. The LOP was a bit long so he got a Tikka youth rifle for her...fits her better. The Kimber is just taking up space and he thinks it would be at home at my place.

Kimber doesn't want to sell me a Montana stock/mag box/follower seperately.

I can probably get to where I need to be for an ADL conversion of the Hunter with a semi inletted Brown 'glass stock that's been kicking around here a while. Not a lot of mystery in boxes, springs and followers.

FrankenKimber, anyone? ;)
