Older boy is cross eye dominant and generally shoots lefty. What's the easiest way into a left hand action? I have a LH LA Mcmillan for a Rem 700 for him, so would rather head that direction. Anyone have a LA 700 lefty kicking around that they don't need?

Gun Broker has a lefty 7mm rem mag thats not stupid priced yet, but still has 12 days on the auction. Might be worth a bid if you want a blued 7mm.

I killed sheep, moose, bear and blacktails in AK and an ID elk with a 6lb 9oz (scoped) faux ti 30-06, same/same but in a Ti stock, and can vouch that it might be a bit more violent than the boy would want! Nice setup though. I have idle stainless takeoff barrels in 300wm and 30-06 (mountain) so can make do with donors or bare actions std and mag. I'll keep my eye on that gunbroker 7-mag.

There is one on the fire: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/17805630/lh-rem-700-faux-ti-fs#Post17805630

You could trip one of the McMillans.

My oldest boy is in the same boat. Would have preferred a short action 700 but we ended up finding a good deal on a 25-06 lefty for him. Then I found a left hand KS so he’s set now. I may rebarrel it too a 280 later if he wants.
Funny, I was about to send the same link from the alaskaslist side.

One thing to think about if your a righty carrying a lefty. The bolt knob will hit you in the lower back/kidney area if you jump off a log with it slung on your right shoulder.
