18” pencil, no threads, now?? Sounds damn hard to get.

I like the 16” Faxon pencil, or their 18” gunner profile barrels in the match series. But they are threaded.
Columbia River arms will make what you want, but you probably won’t see it for a year.
Could consider a thread protector.

I have a BHW 18" *cough* profile with target crown waiting in the wings. Just got a gas tube and handguard to swap it around and replace a 16 incher. That way I can not shoot an 18 instead of not shooting a 16, which seems better for some reason. :)

I can absolutely do that. But when shit is cheap again, you owe me a barrel. :) Also, this is like day 3 of a 2 week quarantine, so it will be a minute.

I was mainly excited to see that they actually had some available and weren't charging through the roof.

I huckled him the same thing, but in a Complete Rifle Kit for $669.99 and was thinking likewise on Politics/Pricing.

Still wouldn't linger................(grin)

Just found a Odin ultralight stainless in stock and have it headed this way
Was a 16” buy I can live with that
Now if I can find a mid length gas tube ........ grin
Odin makes a decent barrel, have seen that particular one though.

WOA makes a version of their 3-gun barrel in a 1.9 lb contour & they would do it w/o threads; got 3 of their SPR barrels with rifle & ML gas & they are all hammers at a decent price. Ditto for anything from Craddock............got a couple of his Rock Creek barrels that are as good as it gets & he'll do pretty much any contour you want, however you want. But my last one took 3+ months, but it was worth it.

Don't know what your expectations for accuracy are with a pencil barrel, but sadly, I've not heard good things about the Faxon version, but I don't have any myself so 2nd hand info..................spill yer guts when you see how yours does. I'd like to know.
