As per my usual,I hipshot the first round, feeding it from a mag loaded same. Bolt locked back, nothing blew up,so shot 25yd paper. It was 4 Mil's left and 3 Mil's high,so the correction was obviously easy, ala 6x MQ.
Shot 100yd paper, made small correction(1) "click" to right and zero'd for 200yds(+ .5 Mil's at 100). Shots 7,8 and 9 went into 5/8",which was a touch suplizing,as Krunchentickers tend to take 15rds or so,for moly to settle. Zero'd ele, pulled windage knob and went to gunning come-ups. 900yd steel says 2525fps(I factored a .450 G1 BC),as per a known erector. Not shabby for an 18" Squirt Gun,as the Transonic Slip is 960yds in the current atmosphere.
Straight up EMBARRASSED myself yesterday,as I found heaps of Krunchenticker Parts, that I didn't even know I had, including a trio of stripped lowers. Fixing to build another 224 Grendel, here directly and will A2 it. Nice to stumble across a trio of CMC single-stage Flatties too and all sorts of other mainstays.
I reckon it still pays to order in bulk........................(grin)
