Got a pard looking to build a 7 RM hunting rifle. I know, there's no need for such madness, but he's got a Rem 700 LA mag bolt face. I did manage to talk him down from a .300WM at least! He really thinks he wants a thumbhole, but I'm trying to steer him away from that. My first thougth is a Mesa Precision Altitude, but that may be more than he's looking to spend. Maybe a Terrain, since the extra bit a weight won't be amiss?
the trick is finding the right t hole, without fondling a few first. Might spin up the barrelled action first, and run it in something availible/mundne until he finds something he really likes.

Should be doing a 7-375 Ruger on that thing...... Not sure on price but I've been really impressed with AG composites stock offerings that I have seen.
We're out on the east coast. Nothing out here needs a mag of any discription, to be honest. He hasn't really set a budget yet, but we're working on it.

I just put a 700 xcr2 300 WM in a greyboe outlander. Dropped right in. I kinda like the weight of it. Greyboe certainly aināt light.
It was a used older one I picked up. Fits the factory 700 like itās supposed to. Pretty nice upgrade for two bills.
