Nice! I’m behind you in the gathering parts phase. Are you going heavy or walking varmint? Heavy barrels seem easier to source

Good deal!, GT makes a lot of sense.

I've got a 1 in 7.7 Bart #3 gathering dust if you're interested let me know

Have gathered up some 88gr ELD-Ms. Have some concerns about stabilizing them. Would a 7.7 do it? I’m about 2200 MSL and DAs run from about -150 to nearly 6000.

Was actually thinking on starting with my match rifle. Just got a suppressor and after trying that, I don’t want to shoot without it again. Leaning toward an M24 contour 7” twist cut to 20” for the match gun and something lighter, also cut to 20” for my hunting rig.

I've shot 88s in a couple 1 in 8 twists and it works at 2k to 3k ASL but my last 22 creed got a 1 in 7 Bart. That would be my choice if it's a dedicated 88 slinger but anything 8 or faster seems to work

I'd probably buy the one Stick posted if RHR doesn't have anything. You can always turn it down lighter

Nice! Have you picked up the dies from GA Precision yet?
Looking forward to following your build.

I keep selling my heavy guns since I don’t shoot them as much. My plan is a simple “halibut rifle” or lighter with DBM.
