Well, based on the performance of Kuiu Chugach today, I would say save your cash. I don’t mind hunting wet, but it’d be a lot more comfortable in a cheaper outfit.

I'm still rocking the impertech pullover and lightish weight Grunden bibs. Even up the mountain. Not really lightweight or quite, but I stay pretty dry most of the time.

Not sure the price point, in comparison to "hunting" lines like Kuiu; but I'm inclined to continue to explore some of the newer Grundens lines. I've been running a grundens jacket the last two years and am pretty happy so far. Looking at their offerings on the website, it seems they are evolving past just CommFish gear.

I don't know anyone who's had any Kuiu luck,in real rain.

LOVED my old Marmot stuff,but it's no longer and Impertech abounds......................
