So I picked up a 1-7 Fieldcraft 22-250. I meant to convert it to a 7-08 but she grouped factory fodder so well that I decided to burn the OEM barrel up before rebarreling. So I bought some Redding Type S dies and Hornady 88's for her too.

Recommendations for the bushing size needed? What powder do you like behind to the 88's? What kind of velocity should I be looking for? How do the 88's hold up on deer? Thanks!

They kill very well.

Like Stick said, 17 shines. I'm playing with staball 6.5 in my 22 creed with 88s and it is working great too.

88s have done me well also in my 22 CM and Teeker 22-250...

Been kinda late to the ‘17 party but find myself using it more and more. Burning through 16lbs of H100V that came with my first 22CM barrel and it’s treated me well also.
