My BELOVED G-12 puked in today's fine weather. Zipped home and ordered another,so there's reprieve!(grin)

The lens won't actuate any more and tosses an Error Code. That being said, here's to an AMAZINGLY Magnificent fucking run of sheer/utter reliability,in these dusty conditions!

Salute!...................

I'm sure somewhere, there's somebody that might have the parts, but the easy button was to get a replacement coming. There's some features I don't want to give up and nothing new has it.

Less can be so much more...................(grin)

I can't know who "Replay Tech" is,but they shipped fast and wrapped shit up tight. "New" one is a touch nicer than the original.(grin)

I'd certainly order more shit from them,if that helps anyone.................

Back in bidnesss and it's nice to throw flash around, without fucking with the 600's on Pro Bodies.

Anyone else latch onto the DMR II Sale? I like 'shades that have an O-ring.

Might meld nicely, with a Big Bitch Bart' in 280 SALAMI.....................(grin)

I owned one briefly but tripped it.

I found the image went to crap as the elevation rose.

I'd have a peak before mounting it on a 30-40 minute setup as it prefers the middle of the lens.

Definitely wasn't fragile and got tempted to keep it but needed to balance the books on other gear at the time.

Something like a Creedmoor or big 7 should go nicely. I have the 284 itch, myself.

Now y'all are giving me the photo itch.
My perfectly fine 40d might get some company. Perhaps if it was smaller I'd actually bring it along.

Btw- is it cool for a stranger (me) to post here?

I can't figure out if this is intended to be a public site or more like an ongoing digital reunion for your 'nam unit or bush cousins or something.

I just lurk for field rifle porn and reloading lessons :)

I found out about it a bit too late but picked one up a couple years ago on another sale for like price.

It has not been tested heavily and lives on a Maten Creed I don’t shoot so much.

In quick release mounts what wasn’t kilt by projectile could surely be bludgeoned to death.

My trusty Kodak finally gave up the ghost. I've got a new Nikon D5300 now....let the learning curve begin.

I strayed into areas that require actual skill so for now, it's back to auto focus to relearn the basics. -Al

Cool- I'm a nerd by trade, and can earn my keep by helping with the ssl cert if y'all need an assist.

Super...... slippery..... Lady? Landing? Limerick? I don't know if any of those have certification bodies.

Anyway, please feel free to post any way you please. And if we're fucking up, don't be shy about telling me. Might not be able to fix it, but id prefer to at least know about it.

LOL- The little lock thingy to the left of the address in the URL bar. The cert makes it a 🔒

Some folks prefer not to lock up anyhow.
