Have said it many times, that the rifles I have (for the most part) were because a good deal came along as opposed to going out and finding the exact rifle I have.

Having said all that, if you were starting over, would you still have the same rifles you do now, or would you change, and if so to what?

I was trying to figure out if it was a different question or he was just having a senior moment. :)

Mine was specifically about a big game rifle. Now if we're talking about a whole new battery from the ground up, we've got a new discussion.

If we're talking about a new battery built from the ground up, I'd do 3 NULA's. A .22 LR repeater, a .223, and a .30-06. I could probably be persuaded to do a .284 instead of a .30-06 so that the action length and bolt throw are the same on the .223 and big game rifle.
