Here is the latest build out of my shop rundown as follows.
Defiance deviant left port right bolt single shot action
Macmillan a5
Timney target trigger (Jewell on route)
MTU contoured benchmark 1-9 6 flutes at 26 inches chambered in 338-375 ruger.

Been in several fire fights and seen some good reloading and some not so good reloading. It will shot fast enough for its intended purpose.

Think buddy fire formed with some 210 grain nosler spitzers he had laying around, the results were very impressive to say the least, first two shots out of the gun went in the same hole. Think he got 10 rounds off before the monsoon began and they all followed suit. I cant wait to see what it will do with a slippery bullet.

Yeah im thinking thats where he will end up but some of those 285s may be interesting. What are the skinners like in 338
No different than anywhere else. They are ultra consistent, ultra reliable and are the most rugged of the VLD's.

For paper/steel there's lotsa routes, but they seal the deal for Critters...and will happen to do spectacular things on paper/steel.

Win/win.............
