Grabbed one of the $199 closeouts last year, missed out on the $79 ones. It shot factory Hornady 55 SP very well out of its 24" barrel. I put it in an ADL stock and free floated the barrel. Didn't bed it. Had barrel chopped down to 16.5" and finally got to shoot it today. Lost about 3" of elevation at 300 yards. Put 3 in around 2" though, about match box size. Very quiet and nice shooting rig. With suppressor on around 22.5" oal barrel length. The Remington stock trigger is actually very nice on this one as well. Should work for coyote, porky, coon rig.

Believe that one has the 12 twist. Pretty limited but for truck beater shooting that good with 55 grainers, it'll be hard on yotes.

Back before we all knew better I shot everything VA, WV and NC had to offer with a 14 twist 22-250 and 55 grain soft points

i gave away all my wally world buys.

being one of 10 kids and having 27 nephews makes it hard to hold onto bargains.

kinda regret it but blued rifles don't have much appeal.

Oh someday it may become another 7.5 twisted 6/45. For $199 I'll slap it around a bit till then. Will say this blued finish rusts at anything over 10% humidity.
