Even I hate to molest a GenuWhine M40A1 Return Handle,so no AICS DBM on this one,if only for a change.(grin)



I've multiple bolts(.378" and .473"),so could go a couple/few ways. After Bucking around a bit this afternoon,I think I'll play in OEM S/S Guts and see about arranging another 22 PPC AFI,as I rather like the brass/chambering. 6BR always intrigues and would be a breeze. Contemplated a 224 or 243 GayTiger,if only for Giggles. When the dust settles,a 224 Speedmire never sucks,though I don't wanna go over 21" here.

I really don't care for M40A1 ergo's and have too many,but any excuse is good enough,to add another to the fleet.

Re: Your ruminations a while back. Dashers come in spin on's, and then you'd KNOW. But, without DBM, feeding may be an issue for a few potential choices....

A 22 or 6mm creed stamped "22-250 RCBS" or "6mm RCBS" or "6-250 Imp. 30 Deg." or some appropriate designation to get rid of that stupid name.

I might do that soon.

One thing I never thought of... If it doesn't have Creedmoor in the title, then it might not work as well for long range shooting and hunting.

NM. Scrap that idea entirely. I woudn't risk it. Just do a Creedmoor.

I'd never thought of building a "Creedmoor Creedmoor"...until now.(grin)

Pouring/curing the R&D Model,then will sculpt in aluminum.




All told,I've got lotsa 224,243 and 264 Kreedmires,with all blueprints covered nicely. Thinking a 21" 1-7" RPM 22BR,might not suck too terribly.

Decisions...decisions.................

Lineman- what are you running for powder? I've running R17 under 105 amax. Getting 3150 out of a 22" #3 Rock, but sure not getting bugholes like that!

I get 3050 and a little change outta the 20” 6 Creed (1-8 Benchmark) running the 105 HPBT and H4350 (or RE23), feels like I could push another 50-75 FPS out of it, but why?

103 factory fodder clocks 2950ish.

It's a ball,so it meters excellently and has the density/burn rate to do very nice things. I've barely shot 10 pounds of it,so can't speak to it like I can my mainstays,but it rates hoarding.

I never could like any Flavors of 4350...................
