I Apple'd the extry 4GB of RAM,for 200 clams. Fuck it I figured and am turnkey.

Didn't procure any software and am in very good shape there and the only thing I may snag is Lightroom 3.

Catch anything?.............

$200 isn't too terrible. A lot of OEM's straight fuck people on ram upgrades, for something you could buy yourself for 1/4 of the cost, and generally install yourself with 10min and a screwdriver.

How soon you need Lightroom? I go back to work Monday, and could probably have you a DVD/CD with it on it's way to your house a day later or so.



Fishing was pretty much fucking shit all week. I'm down in the gulf which has been really cold lately, and it's fucked up a lot of species to the point of F&G protection mandates. Snagged a couple grouper, some snapper, and a sheepshead or two, but that was about it (and none were worth talking about). The people I was with also were more interested in trying to hook whales of the two-legged spring break variety, much to my chagrin, so a lot more time spent cruising than actually dragging lines. It happens.

I'll be back at work Tuesday and won't see the Mac for a coupla weeks after that,on my next R&R. I'm in no hurry for any of it,snow/ice is melting,water levels are swelling and Spring Chrome will be rollin' my way directly...then I'll have to pick on the Bears a bit.

Been monkey fucking rifles/reloading the last coupla days and am finally seeing daylight there.

Your new Mac will come with build-in wireless, and getting connected is pretty straightforward. That'll be your first introduction to how easy life on a Mac can be....grin.
