Been pondering a new .243 build (yes, I love that caliber) and what I've just about settled on is as follows:
McM Hunters EDGE
Pacnor #1 or 2 contour three groove 1:9
Rifle Basix
Talleys
FXIII 6x42 (of course)
Wanting to build a minimum legal bore light weight as a do-all. This means 6mm is the smallest I can go since I hunt in Wyo as well. Not sure if I'll go AI, if so the Goat Gun will have to be punched as well as I want the capability to run same/same in both. Haven't decided if finding a Rem donor or going with something like Lawton or Stiller.
Thoughts? There any good lightweight aftermarket 700 based actions out there?
