Have you contacted Gene directly? He often has a few knives ready for delivery that were busted sales to the person that originally ordered the knife. He doesn't advertise that he has them but he'll tell you if you ask.

I did, first thing this morning and am waiting to hear back from him. In the meantime I figured checking here couldn't hurt either.
