Leupold usualy sets the rifle scopes up at 150 yards. The custom shop offers the choice to select the range your scope is set up at. And they dont seem to currently offer 10x or less with an AO.

So do you guys have your scopes set up for other than 150?

Is it worth chasing down an older 3.5-10 with AO?

Is it even worth thinking about parallax or should I just use good form and let fly?

What he said.

If you can shoot well enough to notice a half inch of parallax POI/POA difference given your stated intentions with said rifle/scope combination then you are doing better than 99% of the guys on this board (if not all of 'em).......

If you are down to having to blame parallax on missed shots......

LOL!!

Kind of figured the group would go with door #3. Just thought I better ask before I drop the $500.

Yeah, 479 on sale here also (maybe $499??). With a pair of M1's from the Custom shop its 599 even.

I'll have to look at the CDS. I was hell bent on M1's.

No 8% tax in Orygon, so factory direct may be comparable.

Rick.. Go M1's.

I have a few Leupold scopes with CDS dials, but if you are planning on doing a lot of shooting that requires turret twisting, the M1's are way better.
