I'm a bit remote at the moment and having trouble browsing 'weapons' sites. Anybody know where to source a new Ruger Single Six stainless 22lr, and how much they run these days?

Looking for 4&5/8" bbl if they still offer that, otherwise a 6" would work...

It looks like they have a 5.5" and a 6.5" in the SS single six with the 22/22M cylinders.

Buds Gunshop has them at $457 and $458 with free shipping.

That single ten is nice but that front sight will be the first thing to go.

i'm liking the bearcat for trapline use. just need a blade front sight and fixed rear. the adjustable & ramp sights look good but a bit sketchy to quickdraw when enraged marten breaks the chain and lunges for my throat...

Them enraged marten's are almost as scary as imbred carnies...

The stock sights look like a snag fest.

Anybody have accuracy issues when gunning the LR cylinder? I've heard/read that the S-S is more set up for 22WMR, and the slightly larger bore puts the hurt on .22LR accuracy. My only S-S experience is an old Flat Top. It's cool, but not very accurate.............at least not by K22 standards.
