I've never hated the regular 243 as much as some apparently. Nothin' to hate about the SAAMI offering. Just happen to think that Ackley improved upon same....

The guys slagging the factory 243 due to excessive days lost to case trimming, you ever try bushing dies?
Seriously, how much time have you spent trimming 243 cases?
Not saying the 243AI isn't a superior case design, just wondering how much of the chatter is from actual experience...

I've never loved trimming brass as much as some apparently though it does give an excuse to stay in the house. You're replacing cases after three firings. There isn't much of anything that will require trimming at that rate.

Altho' an AR-10 w/SS spout twisted 9 would sure make fire-forming fun. Don't think I could do it given a light turnbolt....
