So after reading through Stick's LBBMF tutorial and seeing the results I got the great idear of following his lead, as usual. I have an M4 type AR that might make a pretty good California mule deer rifle. Most of our mulies are in pretty heavy timber so shots are almost always under 100 yards.

My AR currently runs irons and I've never used an Eotech like device, but I figure it might be effective on our deer when combined with the 62 gr TSX out of the AR.

In other words, I'm thinking about copying Stick, but I wanted to confirm that the M4 type AR with an Eotech and 62 gr TSXs was what the LBBMF is.

EO's are both quick and fast, with the 1MOA dot allowing nice things as far as Precision goes. The 62TSX is The Grail and if you've fair to middlin' blinkers,it's a tough system to whoop.

With luck,my long awaited RRA upper will make it home this R&R. sure would like to warm the barrel up on a herd of Woofs............

I've now used the XPS enough to know that it's almost like cheating. As with most of your recommendations, it's the best money I've spent of late. I'm now wondering what it would be like on my M1A. That could be fun.

A Garand with an Eotech...that'd make a bunch of chinks roll over in their graves.
