Recently purchased one of the SuperCaster 240SX... Love it!

Cast's like a dream.. Loaded it up with some PP and hoping the flow on a local river steady's.. Craving some chrome!

I've never been able to cast farther or closer with such ease.. Thought the extra wide spool on my rod would look and feel strange. But, instead it balanced very well... smile

It's gonna open up some more opportunity on my local streams..

What makes it cast so far, so easily?

The size of the spool. At first glance it just seems wrong.. Then one day a guy offered up his rod. That particular piece of was was no longer difficult to reach and present a good natural drift.. My favorite section of water on a local stream usually takes me 6-7 hrs to limit on steelhead(2 fish).. I suspect that amount of time to be cut in half.. smile

We shall see! Steelies just starting to show! smile

My bad brother, I actually have the 230SX..

Broke in it today.. smile Well a nice hen on the bank did anyway.. It was a knock down drag out brawl on the bank with me flopping around in the water and a death grip on the bitch after the leader broke.. smile

Cool. 500 miles of sand in any direction here and chasing steelies seems a long way off. Maybe I'll browse online and order up a SuperCaster.

This ain't from the guys who make the Banjo Minnow, is it?
