So, I have a scope rail that keeps comming unglued under recoil. I've tried red loctite, and it was good for a while, but it came undone again this weekend. Would bedding that fucker on there do any good?
Thanks.

Which torque value are you using on the screws? Have you used other mounts previously on that rifle?

I went with 20 inch pounds on the screws, as per Badger instructions. This is the only rail that has been mounted on this rifle.

Epoxy. With no release agent on the rail or receiver.

I'm Gorilla tight with everything that gets snugged down. I've snapped a few screws in process, but not had stuff come loose on its own. I can live with that.

Never have puked a Torx fastener, but have had more than a few shitty batches of regular Allens.
More shit goes south due to Lady Finger "tightness",than all other reasons combine.................

I have turned THREE torx fasteners in half 2 Talley and one Leupold. One I fixed myself, one went to Bill Leeper, and the third to Dennis Sorensen. I also recall a 24 hr thread on your fasteners working loose on a Ti 7mm-08 Talley ring caps AND I understand you have tigged fasteners to at least one receiver.
If they are working loose with loctite glue the buggers in place.

I get it that you cling to every word, yet curiously enough,LW's ain't 1913 rails. Enjoy that MIG and TIG stump you too.
I remain certain as well, that I've more than one receiver..................
