I'm looking for a starting point as far as the optimal powder for a 6.5 Grendel shooting the Barnes 100gr TTSX. If anybody can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Quickload says:

28 grains H335 is 52k psi @ 96.5% full -

28.5 grains Ramshot TAC is 52k psi @ 100.2% full

29.2 grains Win 748 is 52k @ 102% full

Of those it claims 748 makes the most velocity. I don't shoot that chambering so don't know beyond QL.

Thanks sandeford. What's it claiming for the H335 velocity? I've got quite a bit of H335 on hand. Would be nice not to have to go buy a new powder.

Out of an 18" barrel H335 is 2628, 2614 for TAC, 2661 for 748.

Probably too close to call with software.
