Who makes one to fit a short action Howa that's worth a flip?................

I have Vanguards in McM Sako Hunter and Varmints, and I would do the Hunter again.

What contour?..................

MR or so. It's a stainless compact youth I saw today in 7-08.

Wished I would have had something to measure the mag box when I was there looking at it..............

Prolly would work pretty good. It's got a 20" barrel that looked to fall somewhere between a MR and sporter contour.
Thought it may make a cheap SS 7-08 to play with some 162's...........

The youth model has the slabbed receiver and hollowed bolt handle..............

i'll get off my ass tomorrow and do side by each with the MR patterns. they ain't all that different from each other. Also, last i checked, and this has been a while, McMillan wouldn't inlet the Mtn Rifle for a Howa.

The slabbed reciever and hollowed bolt handle don't shave that much off them. they are a heavy bitch. i used mine for a chunk...
