A 38 special 1911 you say.....

How about I trump that with a Jim Clark Sr. 38 special long / heavy slide. I've got the rib for it around here somewhere. This slide is an old one as it was made out of a 45 cal and is obviously welded up to make 6".



With 100gr swaged wadcutters it's absolute holy murder on tree rats...

What year is it?

I'd guess early 70's............

Here is a couple for you from earlier.

Slide is marked '77.

The frame is a Colt that I reworked. It was rebarreled in 97 or so. They put a ramped barrel in without consulting me. The original barrel wasn't. What pissed me was that they cut the frame for the ramped barrel which kinda killed it for future use.

Ramped is the only way they make 38spl barrels now.

Not since I bought my 41 at the swap meet at Perry.
