Anyone have any experience with this companys offerings? I'm wanting a smallish machete for my daypack or as a truck knife. I like the looks of this but am looking for feedback.
What kinda blade thickness does that thing sport? I gotta admit the blade design dosen't do a whole lot for me. I can see how in a light brush cutting excersize the hook being useful but I dunno it just don't jazz me.
I have used a full size Ontario machete for years with no issues. The quality is very high, the finish is bullet proof, and the saw teeth actually work.

Go with the gerber.....Trust me on that. I used three different versions of it when it was still a Fiskar product....You used to be able to get them with a longer blade, and a full length axe styled handle on them....Was nothing to use two hands and chop through an alder as thick as your arm with one swing. Even the 18" handled jobbie was right fucking impressive. I use a single handed version by fiskar right now, that is only slightly bigger than the gerber, and I carry it day in and out at work.
You need one of these.
