Took the Wife and kids to Cabo and Booked another trip with Dr. Pescado. This is about our 8th trip now (Thanks Dave). That guy has never skunked me and we have had some bad conditions to deal with. The trip started off kinda slow except for needle fish hitting the lures and not hooking up. We finally boated a couple of little fish that Jaime said we ought to hang onto for later. After three hours of getting our asses kicked on the pacific side, Jaime (the Dr.) was about to head to shore for roosters. He knew my wife was hoping for some fresh fish for dinner so he said "fuck It, lets try something" A few cuts on the fish we had caught, a needle and thread and we were headed back towards some shelter with a flashing chumline in troll. A half hour later and we see some flashes of green in the waves headed our way. over the next two hours I battle two nice Dorado to the boat and release a tough as nails Jack crevalle back for another day. At this point, I am ready for beer and we slowly head back to harbor bullshitting over a coupla brews. All in all it was a good day.

I don't know what the temp was but the water was just as warm. It was the warmest water I have seen there yet. Its a trip to jump into an ocean that feels like a bathtub.

Nice Dorado! good pics too...not hard to love both catching and eating those things and the crevalle just never quit, tough sumbitches.

Anybody wearing racing stripes from Man O' War Jellyfish? they were thick on the gulf side a month or so ago.

No Man'O'War's but I did get zapped by one of those little blues guys while out snorkeling. I thought one of the locals had hooked me while they were fishing from the rocks. It stung for a bit but beer made it feel better. I couldn't talk the wife into peeing on it.

Excellent. Glad to see you had some luck. I'm tempted to head there for a week myself...
