Looking to take a Whitetail baldy with my Ruger SBH. Anyone have a go to recipe that they reload?

A 240XTP with a stout load of H110 or 296 is about as basic as you can get.
Finding projectiles and powder now is the hardest part.

You don’t have to run a max load. 1200fps is more than enough if keeping the range realistic.

I have Enforcer and 240 hard cast, but haven’t used it. I hear it’s supposed to be decent.

30gr of 296 behind a 180gr hp will sear off all the hair at the same time.

I always shot 10 gr Unique under a 250ish Keith style.
