Curious to hear what 422s and 622s are going for in your areas...Lately, I've found a couple more to add to the collection.

Last Friday's find is a 6" 422 with the box that looks like it has never seen the light of day, much less been shot. Picked it up for $175 out the door. Figured the price to be about right, but according to some, they are selling for more than twice that.

Just curious if they really are selling for that, or if some of the guys on rimfirecentral are out there a little bit.

I hope my local shops don't figure out that these things are as handy as they are. I just go along with them when they start telling me how nobody wants them and that the 22a is so much better.

My favorite quote the other day was "I can't believe you're buying THAT thing!" I told them to take all of the ones they get offered on trade, and I'll give them their money back for it.

Got a call from the same shop today. Lady on the phone said she had something that she thought I might want...

Stopped by this afternoon and had to leave with a 6" 622 with adjustable sights...

Think I'll keep working on them till they start offering to deliver......

Wow...and here I thought the one I saw for sale in a shop in Montana while on my Mulie hunt was crazy high at $495!

In fairness, it did have the "wood" grips!
