Saw that. He's in CO without a job, looking to be a Private I or some such. I'm sure the BS he spewed didn't help his guiding business much.
Blake, it's in the hunting section under "where's Wyo been" I think. Thought it was pretty funny.
When I pull up the Hide there is no hunting section anymore, I guess I got banned form that part.......Blake

Loc: Baton Rouge, LA I don't know firsthand about this, but I've heard from what I'd consider a reliable source that he is no longer guiding hunters in Wyoming due to issues with the land/ranch he was at, and that he and his wife had to move back to Georgia ...
If that's true, it would start to explain his lack of presence here and his inability to manage the precisionlongrangehunter.com site ...

Georgia.. no way.. to many bugs too much humidity... grew up in PA as it were...
ok.. long season, long story, gonna shorten it to a few sentences.
After 10 years of the guest ranch and outfitting the wife and I have decided to sell.... well we did sell actually. It really wasn't a hard decision as our new son made things rather "no brainer" like. Being away most of the time for 5-6 months isn't' real conducive to father/son relationships. So we sold out, moved to CO and my wife will be able to pursue her career and I may get back in to the PI business or even something else...
anyone in CO offering employment...???
so anywho, I'll be changin' my call sign name as well...
I see lotsa things have happened since my brief absense... wow..
I'm in the "springs" area if anyone need a trigger yankin' pard...

I think we'll be ok... just a bit of adjusting to the "crowds" is all. Truly amazing to see just how "soft" alot of people really are and how lost they would be if they couldn't instantly get what they needed, "Starbucks", "Walmart", or hell anything you can imagine is within 5 min. now. We'll build in a year or 3, way outta town I'm sure of that!

There you go Dave... I tried to clean it up a little to make it easier to read the first time I posted it, but messed it up, so I deleted and reposted the whole thing.
that is priceless, why not tell the truth. It should have read something like this. Well guys I am out of the guiding business as all I could put my clients on were dinks. We were getting less and less business because of this and being as I could not pick up an extra shift at burger king and still take clients out we are closing the doors. I am moving out of this state as my reputation is shot because this asshole in AK kept using facts against me. Anyway I put in for a transfer to the CO burger king and it looks like I will get promoted to head burger flipper so I got that going for me. I have to change my handle as I am no longer in WYO. You fellas got any ideas.......WYO

He didn't actually own the ranch. His father inlaw did. He just ran it, his sugardaddyfil lived in PA where whimper is from.
Jamison's parents live in Wyo, just across the street from Whimper's x-ranch ... So Jamison knows him personally. Jamison is the one that told me what happened ...
the details are fuzzy at best, but go something like this:
His FIL owned the place, but ran into some sort of financial troubles and had to sell the ranch (or it was repossessed or something like that) ... which of course killed the business, despite Whimper's efforts to kill it himself ... and then, as stated, he and his wife moved back to PA ...
I have no clue what he's doing now, nor do I really care ... I just miss the banter between he and Larry over on snipershide.com ...
