I know ya'll get tired of postin these, but I want to see some funky shit. You know, jazzy stuff, not OD/blk/grey
Have always liked that stock. Was gonna order one, but figgered it would scare the deer away.....Parish said:Here's a blue one on my 25-284. Need to get a new picture, hopefully with some dead animals included.
50%blue,25%gray,25%black
Amber scope caps too? Was the case cracked up plasticy type stuff or did it have golden retrievers and mallards in the lining?Parish said:The blue is just for show, as it wears Gun-Chaps when I go hunting.
(no, not really)
I dated a girl in highschool whose dad showed me his pride-and-joy deer rifle. A 742 30-06 with chaps, see thru's, and a wideview Redfield. Ouch....
Not sure why I dig this one, but it's just cool. I remember when you got it. What is it again?Thread Killer said:
I'm thinking about ordering up the exact opposit of this for my M70 7Remmy. I thought mostly white with a little red would be goodThread Killer said:
What's the mix on this one???Thread Killer said:
Yep, it's a Classic.Westman said:JDS,
That's a nice looking color mix on that stock. Is that a classic?
Damn fine looking set up.dvdegeorge said:Better Pic's of Sako 75 40/40/20 OD/light grey/black....
This one is my all time favorite. I assume the 25% grey is light grey and the blue is dark?Parish said:Here's a blue one on my 25-284. Need to get a new picture, hopefully with some dead animals included.
50%blue,25%gray,25%black
I'm guessing you're right. Mine's 50% Dark Blue, 25% Black, 25% Light Grey and they look awfully similar.Chuck said:This one is my all time favorite. Yep, that's a Classic. The barreled action is a 22'' factory LVSF .308 that I had cerakoted by CAS. Like Parish, I also stole the scheme from Mtn Hunter.Chuck said:Very nice JDS. Is that the classic? What barrel contour/length? Thanks.
Looks familiar, glad to see I'm not the only one that likes that color combo on a Ruger...tlfw said:
Can you post the color ratios on the red/black one?Brother Dave said:I always kinda dug Brother Bill's 375 stock...
Here is a sneak peak at that combination. My favorite for sure.BCSteve said:Me too. I got a similar one on order but in OD instead of Forest. 60% OD/40% Black.
Thanks for the clarification! They both look great, and the mix is a no-brainer to add on my short list of "needed" color combos!!SuperSeal110 said:Blake, thanks.
LOBO, those are black and orange. As far as the mixture, they're both 50%/50%. This was my 2nd blk/org A5. My original one didn't turn out how I wanted it. I sold it to Brad Arnett and bought my friend Tim's blk/org.
Finally arrived last week. My last two had been camo pattern (Desert and GAP) so I figured I needed another swirly.BCSteve said:Me too. I got a similar one on order but in OD instead of Forest. 60% OD/40% Black.

i see several photos I recognize as not yours, and have a feeling the rightful owners of those photos would be rather displeased if their property were being used without their permission...
He is running ads on every page, so he is either using the free wordpress blogs and the money accrues to them or he is paying them to host it and the ad money goes to him.remsen said:My point of view is that as long as the blog is not a commercial thing (i.e., he's not using other people's pictures to sell ads or things like that)
Yep, and a deck undergoing a face lift.16Bore said:60% Black, 30% Med Grey, 10% White? That's a damn fine looking stock....
