Recently put this 243 together, started life as a blister pack ADL with an absolute POS scope.
Stuck it in a McM Classic, added a Timney hunter trigger and mounted a NXS 2.5-10 in Leupold DDs.
Started load development and found a decent load using Barnes 80gr ttsx.
Commenced to cleaning up the brass for reloading and found this ring in the shoulder. Don’t have a bore scope (yet) to get a look at the chamber. Never had a factory chamber mark the brass like this before.
Picture dosen’t really represent how deep the groove is.
Do you think a reamer turned by hand would remove the ridge or should I just leave it alone?
