how’s the smack with a full load and 162’s?

With a stiff load of R22, I was 3100 give or take in mine. Recoil was way less than I anticipated.

I would have no issues letting the wife shoot it, and she complains about the Knight UL with 300s.

I never ran 180s in the WSM Montana, but in this Classic they are a definite step up in recoil.

Not terrible by any means, but getting past what I call noticeable.

I am tempted to grab another Montana, as I really prefer the 8400 stock to others, but I can’t put this SAUM down. Had Shaen put on a modified Lilja 8400, and for me, it’s about as good as it gets.
