Spotting scopes under $600

What's the best spotting scope for under $600? Need at least 30X capability, and would like it as light as possible.

I have a Leupold 12-40 Gold Ring that you should be able to find used for that I'd think. I haven't run it against the Swaro or Zeiss, and don't expect that it would beat glass in the 2X price range, but it does the job pretty well I think.

Yep, I picked up a LNIB leupold goldring,leupold tripod,and soft case for $500 a few weeks ago.

You should be able to pick uo aused 600 series Kowa for that coin-- The glass is hard to beat-- The have pretty much taken the Highpower market like Leupold took the BR market...
