Cool rig!

I’ve got a factory 7 WSM Montana chopped to 19” and threaded 1/2x28. I’m getting about 2950 out of 162s and Retumbo. Pretty handy and potent rig wearing a Scythe Ti.

Ive owned an 8400 in 270wsm and 7wsm. This one started as a 270wsm as well, but I never fired it as such.
Plan to start with 143 Hammer hunters. Will see what velocity looks like.

I really like that. Was just thinking about getting a barrel contoured similarly for one of my Montana’s so that I can run a suppressor in it.

Let us know how it shoots.

Still working on loads. This is the first 4 down the tube, bottom 2 at 56 grains and top 2 at 57 grains of 4350. Bolt lift a touch heavy. Next stab will be RL23, then maybe H4831.
